Who We Are

Our school has been serving the Mt. Vernon, Fort Belvoir, Richmond Hwy South area since 1987.  However, we purchased World Karate from it's original owner (and Viet Le's Master) Carl Runk on Januay 1, 2008.  At that time the school was 1,600 sq ft. On August 15, 2010, we expanded to 3,200 sq ft. and on July 1, 2011 we moved to Springfield, VA in order to expand to almost 5,000 sq ft.  We are now able to serve Springfield, West Springfield, Fairfax, Lorton, and Woodbridge, also.   We have very talented instructors which has enabled us to grow rapidly in numbers and size.

Through the blessing of amazing students, we have expanded TWICE since August 2009!

We have now expanded with two additional gyms that are part of our Team Assassin family!!

Due to a fire (which started in the laundramat two doors down) in Sept 2008 which affected our school and the three stores to our right, we were training in a temporary location in the same mall for approximately 11 months while we waited for the insurance companies to fight and repairs were finally made.  Just prior to that, we decided to expand from 1600 to 3200 sq. ft.  So when we re-opened, we were ready to roll with our expanded school.
